Seriously. Cottage cheese with pineapple chunks. I'm having a helluva time keeping my macro ratios in line because I eat CC & Pineapple chunks like 3 or 4 times a day. My daily CC intake is like 1 1/2 to 2 cups a day. I am buying the big 24 oz tubs of Breakstone 2% CC two at a time so I don't have to go to the store every day. :p

I'm going to have to go to Sam's Wholesale or Costco to see if they sell cottage cheese and cans of pineapple tidbits in bulk in order to save money. It's disgraceful.

And to think that, two weeks ago, I had to sit still after choking down CC so that I didn't throw it up. :lmao:

Now, someone come along and tell me how this is wrecking my diet in some way so I can be horrified and make myself quit eating it!

Edit to add: I don't eat 3 servings in one sitting by the way. LOL. It's spread out over the day,
 
Gotta love the CC, add blueberries, almond butter, mix it up into purple goo, it's yummy. I'd eat more in a day but I thought too much dairy was a bad thing?

Pineapple, need to try that too.......

Yeah, I'm not sure about the dairy thing. I've just been going by macro's - which I guess I assume to be the 'holy grail' of diet. I had cut dairy almost completely out of my diet until I started eating cottage cheese.

Gah. I'm craving some even now. :lmao:

edit to add: I looked at some of the differeing opinions on both dairy and fruit. There are good arguements on both sides for including them or excluding them from your diet. And I found many posts in some of the bodybuilding forums where people said that even though they excluded most dairy, they kept cottage cheese.

I think, once again, it comes down to what works best for you. Dairy bloats me quite a bit, so when it comes time to measure and get my body fat doene, I'll avoid it for a few days. But for my general diet - it's been both filling and satisfying for my sweet tooth. If you are curious about dairy, you could always try it both in and out of your diet for a period of time and see what results your body gives you. :)

Trader Joes makes really great tasting RBST/ RBGH free dairy products (it's a nasty Bovine Growth Hormone that dairys inject into lactating cows to produce more milk). IMHO, there is a huge taste and texture difference between treated and non-treat cows.

Cottage cheese + shelled sunflower seeds = YUM!!!!!!!! OMG it's awesome!!
 
I love cottage cheese. Sometimes I'll just sprinkle a little Crystal Light in it for the fruit flavor without the sugar! Yummy! :p
 
Thank God I feel SO MUCH better, I go through six 2 lb. containers a week and I was thinking I was a freak.
