I'm pretty damn excited...
I havn't been working my arms much differently than I traditionally have, and my arms have been stuck in the 15" range for at least a year... Plateauing at 15.5" for at least 6 months with not a fraction of a movement on the tape. Until recently...
What was the solution, or in my mind anyways, to this problem?
Deads, squats and plenty of rest. I never deadlifted or squats prior to July.
I just finished taking a 2 week break as of the beginning of this week and have been back at it. Anyways, I picked up a tape measure a couple of nights ago and wrapped that sucker around my arm... FINALLY 16"
16" is obviously not huge, but it was my goal for summer(I try not to overshoot my arm goals as even the small goals tend to be very difficult to meet when it comes to my pipes)...
I'm now thinking/hoping that 16.5" or even 16.25" is a feasable goal for summer. I'm gunna keep squatting and deadlifting and continue to eat right and I can't wait to see what the results are.
Thanks for all the great ideas guys.. without this board I would be significantly further back in my gains than I ever could have hoped!
Whats the moral of this story?
Squat/Deadlift/Eat and Sleep and you will grow like a friggen weed!
