Infection, Kinda Strange!! Please advise!!

ok, a friend of mine has been on a cycle for 8 weeks, just test e 600 mg a week. it is his first cycle(i told him to start lowere but he didn want to) anyway, he is up to 213 from 180 and is currentlly in his 8th week. he called me tonight and todl me that he had a lump the size of a softball on his lower back. he says its right above and to the right of where is ass crack starts, so he doesnt think its an infection. he says its basically right on the spin about 4-5 inches higher than where he injects. he says he did his last shot on sunday, noticed it on tuesday, and today saturday, its gotten even bigger and now has started to protrude out from his body about 1/4 inch.

so what do you guys think this is? infection, strained something? i told him to take some ibupropen and put a hot pad on it for asn hour tonight. what else should i tell him to do?

What do I think? Tell him to go get medical help ASAP. Don't give him medical advice, send him to the doctor ASAP! this could be very serious.

Bro if its near his spine he needs to see a Dr.ASAP...tell him not to worry about telling the Dr what he's on they won't bust him but they need to know everything if they are going to help..to much of a good thing can be bad..

Why would you shoot 4" below your spine to begin with? Outer upper portion of glute. After he gets back from ER tell him to read a little about site injections.

sorry, i was a little vague with my information. i just got of the phone with him and he says he did the injects on the outer upper part of his butt, and that the heart of the spot is directly above the middle of his left cheek, sorry guys i thought the said it was right by his spine! anyway he says the left side of the "spot" is directly above the injection site, however its about 4-5 inches above where he shot the needle!
ha says he used perfect injection techniques and that the shot wasnt painful or anything the day or two after.
i have never had an infection, nor do i know anybody personally that has, so i really dont know what to tell him. in all honesty if i had to guess i would guess that he is being a pussy, but he is my friend, and i want to make sure he is ok!

any thoughts guys?

You said before that the site is getting bigger? is it growing in size or not?

Either way, my suggestion for you: tell the guy to go to the doctor. Even if it's nothing, better be safe then sorry. Sounds like your phone diagnosis is not going to fly.

Tell the truth. He should say what he did and let the doctor examine the site and see if there is a possible health problem.
