I don't compete but intend to, just enjoy lifting some got a 2 ply metal ace. Been wearing it every session so far cos I was very under prepared at just how different training in gear would be. My lifts went backwards before forwards so I cycle between suit down and suit strapped without the box. I generally only box squat unless straps up...... I'm not new to lifting but am to powerlifting one thing I learned very quick is you don't wear the suit you "use" the suit..... So learn to use it rather than just wearing it
