I love Deads!!!!

Man I haven't done deadlifts in about six months, until yesterday that is! I fucking love them. But like a dumbass I went too heavy too quickly. I started out with the normal warmup of 135lbs, then went to 225 then on to 315, and a final set of 365 for 6 reps. I know that it may not seem like much, but after having not done them for about 6 months let me tell you that was probably too much. I think that from here on out I will have to have one day set aside every ten days or so for lower back training only. How does this sound:
Deadlifts: 5 sets pyramiding up from a 135 lb warm-up to about 365 to finish.
Barbell good mornings: 3 sets with around 135lbs.
Hyperextensions: 3 sets with a 45lb plate.
Damn I gotta go put some Icy Hot on my back now. Out....

Deads are the bomb man, the first time I did them, I was changed forever. Lowerback routine looks good.

DEAD MAN WALKING

Here's a little work out treat, I call it DEAD MAN WALKING.

Get warmed up first

Then depending on your training level and size, put what you would consider to be a mild amount of weight on the bar for DEADS.

I use 270

Then make sure your near a pull up bar.
This is a Superset

Do 5 dead reps and 10 pullups reps without rest then
go back and forth between the two for a total of 6 each
without stopping.

After you will feel like a Dead Man Walking.
great pump

It's what put the "junk" in my trunk! I had been born and raised with pancake flat ass, but it's a healthy piece of muscel now.
