I find this baffling

I understand the whole deal about how much of which nutrient to intake, but the problem comes in when you have to start counting the cals/grams of carbs, protein, and fat in each meal.

Anyone know any good resources for figuring out the content of a type of food? Also, it seems to me like you would end up having to weigh stuff like meat to make sure you are getting the right amount of stuff.

Suggestions/ideas??

Try keeping a log of all the foods you eat at:

http://fitday.com

At this site they figure out the percentage of what you are eating (protein, fat, carbs). All you have to enter in is the serving size you are eating and select the food. Many foods are in there menus already. They also have an exercise log where you are able to figure out exactly how many calories you are burning everyday.

Good Luck. I hope this helps!

I think there should be an internet site where you can enter the amount of protein/fat/carbs you want in a meal and then it suggests one and provides a recipe.

But that's just me.
