Like I said, I wasn't on an extreme cutting diet... I didn't have that much fat to lose. I reduced calories to 1524 and kept equal ratios of fat/carbs/protein. My focus was more on cleaning up my diet, eating clean carbs and healthier food. I didn't really have much problem adding the weight.
