hey!!! i have started my new work out routine, especially as i was informed about how dumb my recent one was!(working out every day same muscle groups)!!!! now that i have started a new routine witch includes:

(monday) Chest/Tris
(tuesday) Back/biceps/forearms
(wednesday) off
(thursday) shoulders/Traps/abs
(friday) calves/quads/hams
(saturday) off
(sunday) off

duing this plan i hope achieve lean muscle mass....but as i disscovered doin this plan, the muscles being worked on lets say mondays routine(chest/tris) are still being worked out on the next days workout (back/biceps/forearms) due to the exersizes being done. ie(wide grip pull downs behind back) work your triceps as well, causing them to work again...i am scared to do so due to the overworking of the muscles especially two days in a row! is this ok the way my routine is set up or should i change like such:

(monday) chest/tris
(tuesday) off
(wednesday) back/biceps/forearms
(thursday)off
(friday)shoulders/traps/abs
(saturdays)off
(sundays)calves/quads/hams

Is this routine better due to the amount of rest days??or are there too many rest days?! please help me by criticising! thanx!!!
if anyone has a better routine that i should follow, that allows me to gain lean muscle mass effectivly and quickly please inform me! thanks alot ...c-ya!

I am just curious as to why you think that your chest and tris would be worked on the back and biceps day. I cant think of any exercises on the back and bicep day that would invovle and major work from the chest and triceps. The general rule is that the chest and back work in opposite functions and the same with the triceps and biceps.

And no the pull down does not work the tricep dude. Think about it. At what stage are you working against a resistance to straighten your arm out? Never!

But the two programs you have outlined seem solid enough so i am not criticising, just telling you that maybe you don't really understand the functions and exercises that relate to each body part.

oooo i c aight thanks..umm wich one do u feel is better??? are they both good routines?? or do u have a better one?

They both look solid to me. I'd just do whatever one works into your schedule better. I do about the same split but due to my schedule I don't have set days to do a set body part.
