hey all, first off let me say im a college student, and all i do basicly is cook and go to school and lift and workout. Here's what I have to work with
Home made granola, ingredients: 7 grain, wheat germ, nutritional yeast, oats, almonds, peanuts, sweetened with little honey for flavor, splenda & tiniest bit of oil. I make this stuff by the pounds and eat if for breakfast each morning with 5 egg whites. I would like to keep this as my morning start, i love it, and its very healthy with all the whole grains & nuts for protein.
Canned tunafish. I have lots of this to sustain me, canned my won this year and eat the stuff without mayo on whole wheat bread or crackers like no other.
Chicken, my staple, and basicly only meat. I love how lean it is, and its super cheep, the only meat i can really afford.
I buy eggs by the 5 dozzen cases and eat at least 10 whites per day.
So now, im 175lbs, have lots a lot over the summer working so much and just got over a very terrible sickness where i was basicly unable to eat anything for over a week. (killed me and my weight)
Im 22, 175 as stated, very toned and lean already, but am going to be running a light cycle to try and get back up to where I was which was 185+ ish.
If i can set asside a diet that I can stick to each day it will not only help to set a food budget for my self, but also keep my diet very clean which it really already is.
anyhow was thinking somthing like this
beakfast 8am: bowl of granola w/fat free milk, 5 egg whites
lunch @ 11 or 12: tuna sandwich, whole wheat bread, no mayo in tuna
dinner: need creative ideas for chicken, was thinking lasagna's, chicken taco's wtc, but need more ideas.
Also need snack ideas! I have protein shakes which i will throw in at least once a day as well, but still need some ideas for easy to whip together snacks that are inexpensive and easy to take places. thanks all in advance for your suggestions/tips
