Hate this place

How long did you live there? You know all about it right? Fucking texans.

Anyway, you are paying way too much, unless you like the luxury. I would recommend commuting 30min drive or so. Look at Issaquah, or Kirkland.

The weather alone would put me on antidepressant meds.

Sorry to hear that Rachel! I hope things get better for you

Sounds like Alaska over priced. Oh and it's snowing right now, but I can't complain about that.

I got out of a lease penalty free after dealing with a palmetto bug infestation. I called the city inspector who took one look and sent a certified letter to the management company about it.

Holy shit those bugs are scary! I was in Miami last year with my GF all of a sudden saw the ground moving all around us outside.... It was like a million of those fuckers. Never saw one being from up here. She didn't either.

^^^ and what Steve said. Be sure to read your lease agreement and make sure you will not be sued for the remaining balance of the lease. They can and will get a judgement on you if so, and if you own any property in your name they can attach a lien on that asset until it is paid. The best route would be to contact the owner and tell him you are extremely disappointed, and that you are moving. I would also do as Jester recommends, and get a little farther out. It will be cheaper and who cares if you have to commute.
