Forearm VS. Grip Training Frequency.. ?

I am curious what you all think about this. In a week or two the two Captains of Crusher Grippers (#1 & #2) I ordered will be coming in the mail. I cant decide how often I should use them to work on my grip. I train my forearms twice a week; once with chest and biceps and once again with back and traps. I do 2 sets of the wrist roller usually. Great burn and usually a great pump.

When I get the grippers I was thinking about hitting up some sets with them on a daily or every other day basis. Would this mess everything up? I dont want to end up with overtrained forearms / wrists / hands.

:confused::confused:

i say do them with the same frequency as u did b4 and to them after youve worked your main bodyparts. yes u are right, u dont want them overtrained so hit em hard but make sure they get rest too.

grip is the easiest thing to over train........very easy.

you will be shocked on how hard the grippers are to close.....i had to swallow my pride and revert back to the trainer.

DO NOT TRAIN THEM EVERY DAY.

do you train biceps everyday? do you train legs everyday?
some people can get away with it......but not everyone

stick to basic weights routine with them. use them in sets and reps....dont sit there pumping away at them (if you can with COC you sir are a freak!)

if you dont you will find your self going backwards.....being able to do less and less.

treat your grip as you would anyother part of your body.

you should have ordered the book "mastery of hand strength" while you were at iron mind. oh well.....
here is a link for you

cant remember but i think they have a few things about COC

Haha

you ordered the #1 and #2 COC grippers to start

Monstar, you will not believe these suckers.

Like endpoint said, like everybody else you start with the trainer. you need to start with the trainer.

Maybe you'll be able to close the #1 once. That's if you're lucky. Or maybe you'll lie and say you clicked the #2 easily 50 times... and with your left hand to boot!

Even that trainer is hard as hell. You'll see :)

Good luck and I applaud your dedication.
