I'm confused -- if she has her mind made up to do a cycle, does she know why?? From your posts there seems to be either a lot of misinformation or simply no understanding of what "a cycle" is. It won't add a mental edge - if anything she may experience heightened anxiety or extra stress - though not what I'd call "roid rage", several of the girls who have done cycles noted that they were extra "testy". Perhaps some of the ladies can chime in w/ details on this...
If the goal is to lose more bodyfat in her hips and thights, first of all, no such thing as spot reduction (excluding the claimed slight locational reduction from Yohimbine / Yohimbine products). So any bodyfat reduction will come at a rate proportional to the fat deposits around her body. She is 16% bf now and I still note that her weight is kinda low for her height. Is the purpose to have a "model" look? If her body fat drops around 12%, this generally borders on approaching competition bodyfat levels - not so sure how healthy those levels are to maintain. Esp. at her age. The issue is that at levels around 12% and lower, some women lose their period and then all the issues around decreased calcium and potential pre-osteoporosis come into play. (Note that these are extreme cases - but I am trying to illustrate the difference between a "perceived look" and the potential costs of trying to achieve this.)
Also keep in mind the potential for bloating, acne, etc. from a cycle. Especially if she is not lifting or dieting consistently. The whole purpose may backfire.
If she can clearly explain why a cycle will be the appropriate approach, then consider it. If not, then I strongly suggest doing ALOT more research, consider a different route to the goal, or change the goal. Just because she has access to AS and maybe sees you doing it or hears about it, does not mean that "self prescribing" is the right thing to do.
As with anyone, this is her decision to make, but there are better, less invasive ways of achieving goals that will last longer and have more controllable results and side effects.
I'm not trying to come across as a hard ass or anything, I just highly value understanding what is going on w/ AS and also the body chemistry that is involved. A quick fix doesn't necessarily work out the way you expect so you are better of educating yourself before diving in. Ultimately it will be her decision what she puts into her body, and her results and consequences. Even if she does decide to do it, she really should have a clue about diet & training required to get good results. Can you post what she is doing now perhaps we can help there with some suggestions she might be willing to try before committing to a cycle.
