I understand what you mean however I do believe the physcial craving may also be triggered my mental cravings. You deprive yourself of something so sometimes that makes you wantit more. You have to turn off that switch in your brain. I know several people that don't eat sweets b/c they really don't like them. Some have never touched a sweet in his/her life since childhood.
it's about self control most importantly, i find that my body craves what i dont let it have. for example..while im bulking (and eating around 4000 calories) i wish I could just eat less and go back to an extremely strict diet. when im on that strict diet ill crave everything and anything I can't have, but just deal with it.
i don't think it will go away as it is something mental..imo

The cravings definately subside, but there will still be times where the thought creeps back into your head but it usually is no where near the intensity that it used to be. I also find that if i have a cheat day the cravings seem to be a little more the next couple days.
if you cook you goods foods and complex carbs all the time and are full at the time for the clean foods then you won't really crave sugary foods. The only problem is lazyness to cook the clean foods because you don't have a craving for the clean foods in the first place. Always having enough clean foods and filling yourself up all the time is the best prevention for craving sweets.
This sounds weird, but I only crave sweets once every few months....I'll chew a piece of chocolate or whatever, and spit it out before swallowing....once it hits my mouth, I know it's not worth it
