Does a Junk-Food meal have its place in a bulk diet?

I was not expecting this, but my meal today consisting of a Double Whopper w/ Cheese, a cheeseburger, and a medium fries added up to a staggering 1200+ calories with 90g protein and more fat than I would like to mention...

Anyways, I've been adding one meal of junk per day since I'm on a bulk cycle, and keeping the other 5 meals/shakes fairly clean. Taking this into perspective, I'm finding that it is a lot easier to hit a 4,000-5,000 kcal mark each day by adding the "cheat meal." Any opinions on whether or not this is a bad idea, considering I've hit a plateau in Week 7 on cycle? Will this cause me to gain way more fat than muscle? K for solid advice, thanks

yeah if you want to get fat then keep that up. Eating a meal at mcdonalds or a pizza or whatever junk food you do every day is a bad idea. I don't even eat any junkfood. Once a week I will have a meal thats not strictly for building muscle, like chinese vegi's and chicken steamed or something like that, but never anything more.

you may want to stop looking at things in just how many kcals you take in and focus on macronutrient amounts. some people, myself included, have found that they can drop total caloric intake to eat clean, as long as one is gettin enough protein/carbs/fat, and still make good lean mass gains w/o packin on a lot of fat. the result is usually (i say usually b/c some people can eat like shit 24/7 and still grow without gettin fat) more lean mass and less body fat.

i think it depends on your metabolisim, some can handle it some cant

Well I have a very fast metabolism (I'm way more ectomorph than mesomorph). I was always skinny until I started training about 7 years ago, and I've put on at least 50-60lbs of mass in that time, with the last year including AAS use. I remember there use to be summers where I could eat junk food everyday and end up LOSING bodyfat! Of course it is not like this anymore, I do gain fat now, but I think it is because most everyone does when at such a high caloric intake.

You guys seem overwhelmingly against a daily junk-food intake, so I will take that into account and limit one or two cheat days per week, only because I am bulking (no cheat days whilst cutting). I also realize macronutrient density is important, and junk food offers empty calories, so I suppose that is yet another argument not to eat it. Any other suggestions on how to keep the cal intake high, maybe without having to add the junk meal each day?

try it daily..if you gain a little chub, knock it off, drop the lbs, and continue 2-3 times ;/ week....that way it wont get out of hand.........let me know how it goes........
