diet guru's question 2

Bam Bam

I am on a ckd diet that calls for me to take in only 20 carbsw a day. I have found that this is almost impossible because everything out there that is filling contains some carbs. Would it make a big difference if I bumped the carbs up to 50grams a day?

Also, how many carbs should I take in after a workout? I usually workout around 2pm. Thanks, BamBam

i dunno much about ckds but u should be able to stay in ketosis at 50g a day
after training id have glucose+whey (carbs + protein) even if i was on a keto diet!

I can stay in ketosis up to about 50-60 grams a day, especially if most of them are after working out. But, I have been on keto type diets for a couple of years so I am pretty well fat adapted.

Off the top of my head, I say no. Get some keto stix and bump up your carbs by 10/day, taking readings all day long. Remember, it's more like having a grip of carbs at once that will lead to problems.
