I am using your back to basics routine. I like the idea and thanks for the info.

One thing though, I am very afraid of the deadlift and worried about injuring myself. I akso do not want to get instructions off of the trainer at my gym. I asked the guy about the staright leg deadlift and he replied "just use the t-bar row it's the same"

Do you know of any websites or can you perhapps give me some instructions perhaps.

As well, My friend is a hunter and told me I can have as much deer meat as I can fit in my freezer. Are you aware of the nutritional properties of venicem ie: protien fat ect..

Straight legged deadlfit is for hams.

t-bar is for lats- thst gut is an idiot...

keep form good and it will be the best exercise you have ever used

venison is frickin awesome...however the deer in our state have CWD(chronic wasting disease) so some may not be edible..

venison is high in protein and very low in fat...im not sure on exact numbers though
 
I think he means use the t-bar FOR straight legged deadlifts. I read that somewhere too. You dont actually row when u use the t-bar, just stand there grab the handles and do still legs. Never tried it, but im pretty sure thats waht he meant.
 
not as good as with the free bar...but better than not doing them at all...
 
free weights are always better than an exercise when the certain plane of motion is locked into...even on stiff deads the bar moves at a slight angle

Try doing a set of stiff deads on a smith and you will feel the difference.

True, True.....the SLDL's from the Old School 3 day split are the reason I even have hams now. Thanks corn.

I've been off the program for most of the summer. Had to switch over to something new for a few weeks. Come September I start it again.
Oh shit....deads and squats twice a week again.....hello Advil.
