Carbs that are "OK"

I am curious as to what the seriously good carbs are. I have read some posts where Jkurz makes it seem like the only carb he touches might be oatmeal, steel cut. Is there anything else? I could also be wrong, sorry if I am Jkurz :) I am just looking for a list that the "elite" use. Do you just ditch all the breads, pastas, etc? Or is there any carbs I can eat up other than my "wet carbs"? Need to continue to refine my diet to make sure I get the most out of it.

Bro - that depends on your goals bruh............oats, sweet pots, yams, brown rice, whole wheat products (100%) beans, legumes, fiberous veggies are all solid carb sources...........

I don't eat a lot of bread or pasta anymore cuz I can eat "more" of one item than bread for the same amount of carbs....

I stick with: certain fruits (like berries), oats, sweet potatoes, apples, brown rice, lentils, beans, veggies.....

Is there some kind of quick way to make sweet potatoes? I never make them.....actually, how in the crap do you guys make them? lol Any ideas would work. Suppose I should try to toss them into my diet.

TAKE a 6oz yam, poke holes in the top, nuke it for 5-10 minutes depending on micro power..........cut it in half, when hot and soft, add some fake butter, cinnamon and splenda.....pretty damn good!

What he said.....

I also cut them into strips, raw, & fry them in oil sometimes -- you can also bake said strips in the oven sprayed with cooking spray...
