Question:
I am doing a clean bulking diet, ie low glycemic carbs 40/30/30 CPF. Hi glyemic carbs only after workouts 3600 calories a day. I try never to mix fats and carbs in the same meals. My current weight is 171 lbs, my goal is 190 in 12 weeks time.
My question is this, while bulking can you have a cheat day where you just ignore your macronutrient profile and your GI, as long as you get your calories in the ballpark, or will this result in excessive fat accumulation?
The reason I ask is, I have only heard of cheat days in the context of cutting diets.
