it is not "sugar laden" it is whole oats and i would never suggest
a processed food to anyone.
i personally eat quaker whole oats but this gentleman was loooking
for something convenient and quick.

You eat the right thing- Whole oats. These can be added to shakes or other foods. I've even heard (although I wouldn't do this myself) you can eat them raw (dry).
