Good luck!! I would have to have someone with me the whole time say.. eat this now.. do that now.. At that stage my brain is fried and it's anthing I can do to remember what my name is!? Let alone a changing diet ... eat this do that for 12 weeks... Ayeyeye

Mak ... how was your strength, muscle appearance & brain function on this diet?

As much as people shun carbs, others swear by them ... even on a carb rotation, I can feel my head get fuzzy, inability to think at work (NOT a good thing), muscles FLAT, and minor dips is strength (not only from a carb rotation, but if I low carb it for a few days etc) ...

Eventually I may try a CKD to TRY it & offer comment, but I'm interested in your thoughts... I see women all to often look for a quick fix, try this & fail ... do you find that commen with men as well?

This diet is great for preserving muscle while losing fat. Until you drop into ketosis you don't feel good. You are in a state of hypoglycemic so it's not fun. Once you get into ketosis you actually start feeling good, your hunger is blunted, and you don't have cravings. I can get into ketosis in about 12 hours because my body is used to it. If you are not then it could take up to 3 days in the beginning. You will be very flat by the 4th day, but that will change once you do the carb load. The first couple days strength is fine. It starts dropping on the third day. That's why I suggest that people only train on Monday, Tuesday, and Wed on this diet. Also train your largest bodyparts on Monday and Tuesday.
Yes, people in general, men included, look for a quick fix.

Hey Aries
I would like to start this diet with you. I am pretty positive I will be starting at a higher BF%.
I was doing a CKD diet when I first came to this board and found it easy to stick to. I decided to try a 40-30-30 for the summer and start back on CKD for the winter.
Could you contact me when you decide to start. Then we can compare notes between the 2 of us.
