Blueberries...good source of fiber?

I recently started eating 1/2 cup of fiber one in the morning + some blueberries in 1 cup of skim milk.

Is blueberries a good source of fiber? I know that Rasberries does, but not sure about blueberries.

Also, do u guys see any potential "hazard" in eating the above in the morning? I am in my cutting stage...trying to stay medium carb, high protein and low fat.

Any comments are appreciated.

fyi nuts are amazing fibre; infact its almost too potent for its size, lol.(bad experience). its got protein and EFA's if your cutting a handfull of nuts can do alot of good. lol that didnt answer your question:D

" Blueberries are good news all the way. These delicious berries contain more disease-fighting, age-proofing antioxidants than practically any other fruit or vegetable, even powerhouses such as kale, broccoli, and oranges. In fact, blueberries were at the top of the list of 40 fruits and vegetables tested for their antioxidant potential. The group of substances that put the "blue" in blueberry--anthocyanins--are probably responsible for much of the fruit's antioxidant power. Blueberries (like other berries such as blackberries) also contain ellagic acid, which has been shown to have anti-cancer properties. Blueberries also boast a high fiber content; and much of that fiber is pectin, a soluble fiber that helps lower cholesterol levels. "

Yeah, what Anthrax said.

I LOVE those little blue balls of goodness, too bad they are expensive as hell. I'll mix them in with everything, including cereal and cottage cheese.
