Biochemistry and Missing a Workout

Hey Guys...I have a couple questions

First of all, im on a cutting diet just doing cardio for 45 min/day for 5 days a week first thing in the morning on an ex bike and stair climber. i was wondering if it would be ok to combine my shoulder and back workout instead of doing 5 workouts a week, cause i have lab on thur till 6 and i have class all morning b4 that. its just a very terrible day. i was wondering if you all could give me some of ur opinion. also, my diet is pretty much consisting of protein and low fat and carbs...can neone suggest a great cutting diet that includes carbs? cause im dying, i ate a tuna footlong from subway today with veggies, but no mayo...sorry for so long

also, im writing a paper in my biochemistry class that requires at least 15 pages. do u think it would be good to do a paper on DNP? i have taken it twice before and gotten good results, but im looking to write a research paper on it...what do u think? neone know where i can get some good info on it?
thanks guys!!

thanks

Hey bro, I really can't help you with the cutting part of your question, but I'd be really interested in reading your paper when your done with it. Good luck.

cutting out the carbs is necesary for 2 reasons, #1 carbs induce water retension which will hide your hard earned muscle, #2 every time you eat carbs you create an insulin spike which will slow down your dieting efforts, instead of raising your carbs why dont you try to include a cheat day into your diet, eat high protein low fat low carbs for 5-6 days, then refeed for 1 day. As far as Atkins stuff, i tryed pancake mix and all it just soy protein mixed with some fiber, you can smell it a mile away (if you ever smelled soy isolate), its overpriced and not worth paying for.

writting a paper on dnp is a good idea, there is much info that you can dig up on it on the net.

cool

I would just like a little help in the right direction writing my DNP paper from a biochemists point of view because i dont really know how i should write it. It has to be completely on technical biochemistry writing. If neone could help me out with that, then that would be very great.
also, on a low carb diet, how low should i go?
would 100 suffice or should i go like below 20 a day?
thanks

Can Neone Help me Out!!!?!??!

Man, I just woke up to do my cardio, its 5:30 and theres about 5 in of snow out there
Dammit

Id like some help with some DNP sources, Andy 13?

Can't help you on your paper, but can on the diet. Of course there are many various thoughts and ideas, so this is from my personal use.
First off too low of a crab diet will put you in a catabolic state. To where you will loose some of your gains. Also your body adapts quite fast, so putting yourself at 100 or lower and your body adapts to that, then where do you go? Start off by multiplying 1.5 grams of carbs at your present body weight. 215 so thats 322.5 grams per day so times that by 4 which equals 1290 cals per day. Plus your 1 gram or lil more protein per body weight and don't forget the fat.
With this as a start try it for two weeks or so and then start lowering more of the carbs, and DON'T forget the fat! Your body will start loosing the carbs and needs to tap into some trye of fuel, hence the fat. Either fat or muscle, it's up to you.
You are doing well by doing Cardio in the morning. Making sure to wait an hour to eat. This allows your body to burn after the workout.
Like I said this is just what I have done and have found good results. You could even try a 50% 30% 20% formula and see if that works for you. 50 being protein 30 being carbs and 20 being fat.
Good luck and hope this helps
