I'm planning on having a few to spice up the oatmeal. Bad idea? I know bananna's are out, but how about blueberries? Their loaded with anti-oxidants, but maybe too much sugar.

Blueberries are one of the best gift from Mother Nature

and not many carbs compared to other fruit

yeah they are one of the best fruits, although they are expensive, they do have some vital nutrients with few carbs like anthrax said

Why are bananas out?

Bananas get a bad wrap for live gly. storage, however, they are an excellent source of potassium.....I have tossed fruits out of my diet for well over 18 months now and Im not realy sure why......`

To each his own, I guess. I eat a half of a banana every day. I don't really get any other sources of potassium in my diet not to mention I don't think it's a good idea to cut out fruit completely... but nobody likes to hear that on this forum, lol. Personally, I'd rather not be choking down a handful of pills every day if I can get it from food.

But like I said... TO EACH HIS OWN... don't bash me for this, please.

Hahaha... easy for you to say! Give it a day...

It's either that or someone's gonna say something like: "Just make sure when you eat that half of a banana that you're standing on your head facing toward the north with three knots in both of your shoe laces..."
