AND I've gotten pulled over again.. SAME STUPID cop - TINTS. Idiot.

You have obviously missed the entire point of why I am upset. I am not going into it. If you can't get it by now, there's no luck for you there. I'll say it one more time: I am not mad I got pulled over for tints, I am mad for how the situation was handled. End of story.

lmao. Tell ya what... You keep trying to justify your bullshit, if it makes you feel better. What you did was wrong. Calling your brother was a bitch move, whether you feel it was warranted or not. I've read every post in this thread... Yes, I "get it". What baffles me is the fact that you can't understand that you are in the wrong. No more questions. Deal with it in court. Again. And, before you whine anymore, I've lived in places like that too... I know how it is. Shut up already, and face the facts.

no tint laws in florida is there?
i've seen some pretty blackened windows down that way.
not so in MI, strict on that, same with loud exhaust.
funny how harley guys get a pass on noise but nobody else does

most states let the bikes fly due to safety issues. the noise makes them more noticeable to other motorists... now if they go gunning it in a res area, they may get a ticket, but they too can get pulled over any time.

tint laws here are lax because it gets so damn hot here, we actually have a reason for having the tint. 100 is a cool day.

I was at court fo this already and the judge laughed at my ticket. Laughed because she knew she wasn't getting anything out of it and how the cops are there. I am going to face the consequences.. I am fine with it. It's 10 minutes in court. It was wrong of me to call my brother? How so? Don't you think it was wrong for the cop to lie to me, because he thought I didn't know the basic traffic law? Sorry, but there is no reason I should not call my brother if I feel that he is not being honest. What would you tell your daughter if a cop pulled her over and was lying to her about the options that she had? THAT is wrong. I was polite, listened, and if more people had relatives or friends that were lawyers who they could trust and they could call, there would be a LOT less cops getting away with their bullshit. Sorry.

I've lived north of her in Waukegan while i was stationed in the Navy. Gambino is right about the arrogance of the average native of her area. Stereotypical, but definitely within one standard deviation.

but it's only harley guys who get passes
put a pipe on a rocket and you will get a fix it ticket, at least around here.
my thinking is that more cops ride/dig harleys and let them slide.
and what good is noise behind you? it's not peeps behind bikers that cause accidents...

If you already knew it was wrong, why call your brother? That was an attempted "power play" on your part... a supposed attempt to intimidate the cop... hence the "bitch move". If you knew for sure it was wrong already, stick to your shit and deal with the cop yourself. Calling your brother was the equivalent of having your daddy call in sick to work for you... Ohhhh, but wait, you've never had a real job, so I guess you don't know how lame that is...

I see not point either. around here they let everyone go, even those little scooters that are loud as hell they startle the shit outta me, especially from behind. make me cringe.

I called my brother TO MAKE SURE. I would HOPE that these cops know what they're talking about and since it had been over a year that I last got pulled over, I might as well check before making an arguement. That would be the smart way to do it. I also called him for other shit that officer told me.. inaccurate crap about keeping my liscense, fines, and my record. So yes, I am 100% GLAD I called him. Lmao - calling my brother is the equivalent of having my daddy call in sick for me? You really lack pure common sense, my friend. No offense but this is completely different. POLICE are KNOWN here to abuse powers. So much more than people think. And oh, I wouldn't know how lame it is to have my dad call in sick for me because that's something that would never happen. I can handle shit on my own, thanks. I guess your daddy must have done that for you when you were a wee kiddy, huh? Did the neighborhood kids make fun of you?

Time to walk my dogs.

Yeah, you're right... I've always had a job, since I was 14 years old. Daddy never bought me a car. And, you are just now getting your first real job? AFTER college?? Hmmm... I really must not know how things work in real life now, huh?

You know what? Your arguement is bullshit. You could have handled all that stuff between getting the ticket, and your court date. Obviously, if the cop was in the wrong, you would have every opportunity to make an ass of him in court, in front of the judge, but... instead, you decided to call your brother, the "attorney" while being pulled over... Sorry, but nobody does that unless you are some kind of prissy bitch trying to get out of a ticket. Everyone else settles their shit in court. I'm sorry if you don't think things work that way, but, welcome to reality...

What part of "I've lived in places like that, I know how it is" didn't you understand? Misusing power? Yeah, I've been there. I've been handcuffed for no reason whatsoever... have you?? Are you trying to make a point? Even then, I dealt with it IN COURT. I didn't make any bitch-ass phone calls trying to intimidate the cops. Nice try, princess...

The reason I know this conversation is about to end is because you really have no clue about basic traffic law. I wouldn't HAVE GOTTEN A court date if I wouldn't have TOLD the officer that he was no correct. He was trying to get me to sign a compliance sheet that stated I was guilty which would dismiss me of my court date. There are other options other than court and the officer was obviously trying to steer me away from court because that means he WOULD HAVE TO BE THERE.

Oh so it's okay to make an ass out of the cop IN COURT? You just totally contradicted yourself. Why does being in court make it any different than not being in court? Why would I be an ass to a cop IN COURT infront of a judge? Lmfao. Seriously.. I'm arguing with someone who really does not understand what goes on around suburban chicago.
