a. this was about you and your nice car
b. you sound condescending, calling him idiotic because he gave you a ticket. that's his job.
c. you sound spoiled when you tell him you have to call your brother who's a LAWYER. as if he should let you be above the law because of it. So far i'm not understanding where the cop was a prick.

that's the problem, and why you're being blasted for this thread. very little emphasis on what, exactly the cop was a prick about, and a lot of emphasis on how you're not deserving of a ticket.

if you were... say... paris hilton, and driving your sports car while talking on the phone and polishing your nails, and the same cop who had just pulled you over and given you a ticket for the exact same thing a few weeks ago wanted to give you another ticket... would he be an idiot for ticketing you, or for letting you go?

LOOK. I was venting.. you are analyzing this WAY too much and I feel you just want to argue because you keep coming back and quoting OLD posts I have made. Fact is, I was MAD he was a prick (because he LIED to me when he explicitely knew certain facts about what my options were, was extremely rude to me (there is no reason whatsoever.. tints or not) and if you aren't from chicago and dont know of all the issues we are having with our police departments, then please - do not speak. I said that kindly "Officer please hold on because my brother is on the phone, who happens to be a lawyer" - by saying this, they are not as big of assholes.. simple as that. My first post, I was venting, came home pissed, so shoot me. You're right - I should have worded it differently.. OKAY. I am not upset because of what you think I am not upset at all.. just annoyed that people totally flipped the point of this thread around.

And even if I went into detail about why he was a prick... people would try to turn that on me too - oh yeah - all because I own a nice car, right? I never even said the car I OWNED.. I just said "nice" car and that can mean anything to anyone... then someone asked me what car and i answered... why wouldn't I?
