Yesterday's Foods 2/22/06

Meal 1-800am
Mixed in blender-1/2c skim milk
1/2c lowfat plain yogurt
1c frozen, unsweetened mixed berries
1 tsp honey.....yummy smoothie.
50cals of whole grain wheat crackers
20oz water

Meal 2-1030am
8oz diet v8 Splash
3c lf popcorn

Meal 3-1230pm
4c mixed greens w/4oz bonless skinless chicken breast
1 slice ww bread w/pat of butter
2 tbs cw ranch
20oz water
protein shake

Meal 4-330pm
protein sahke
20oz water

Meal 5-630pm
4oz shrimp sauteed in 1tsp olive oil & soy sauce
1c yellow squash & 1c zuchinni squash cooked in 1 tsp olive oil
1c cooked brown rice
1 cinnamon roll, no icing
20oz water

TOTALS:1,416cals; Fat-34g (23%); Carbs-180g (46%); Protein-105g (31g)....Well, I've figured out w/this diet I'm following that my Carbs are a little high and my protien is lacking....I'll "tweak" it a little today, and see if that works to fix the macros. Oh and I couldn't find V8 drinks in FitDay so I had to add a few different drinks to try to make it as close to V8 as possible. :rolleyes:
 
Calories are looking MUCH better!!! I little more protein and a little less carbs wouldn't hurt, but keep those calories there!! ;) How are you feeling with more calories???

Thanks IP. I'm feeling a little better w/more cals, but sometimes I have a hard time eating it all, I feel like if I eat anymore I'm going to "pop!" I am a little nervous thinking that it'll cause me to gain though.

Your stomach will get use to that and you won't have any problems! lol

I gotta' start cutting next week and I'm so use to EATING that I don't know how I'm gonna' do it! I just want to keep EATING!!!! lol

Your body will adjust. I know when I started eating like I do I would be like oh man and barely could finish most of my meals. Now I get shakey and *itchy if I don't eat or I'm late on a meal. :chomp:

I totally felt this way when I started the Shadow plan last year and then when I saw the weight coming off I was like Huh??? I mean I felt full and had that "Gosh I must have added a few pounds feeling"... Give it a few weeks and just monitor your results!
 
^^ Ladies go it covered. :D Your body will adjust ... the weight (fat) will come off if you are feeding it properly, training, being honest with your portions/cheats and of course, have no medical issues hindering you progress.

Keep at it A! I understand the cause for celebration but I see that red wine, and last 2 nights of cake :velvett:

I know, the wine & cake weren't the best choices. I had to snap myself into check about it too. Thanks everyone for helping me gain the confidence I lack by checking in and cracking the 'ol whip out. HA HA HA. I'll keep everyone posted on my progress, too.
 
Today (Wed) 3/1/06

30 minutes of HITT intervals ranged between 4.0 & 5.6......whew! felt great, today!

arms workout with 10lb dumbells (at home)

830am-oatmeal
1c skim milk w/protein
16.9oz bottle water

1030-kashi go lean honey almond flax seed granola bar
20oz water

1230pm-16oz water
1 can diet v8 splash
1-6pz can tuna w/1 tbs mayo
also added 8 pickle chips & 2 boiled eggs to the tuna mix

330pm-protein
16oz water

700pm-1c of pasta (I got this recipe from Rachel Ray on Oprah yesterday.....It's called "You Won't Be Single for Long Vodka Cream Pasta") It was delicious!!
1 slice garlic bread
protein shake
20oz water
