4/6 MLB: Pittsburgh at Cincinnati

Well-known member
The Cincinnati Reds and the record-setting Ken Griffey Jr. will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates Thursday when the teams take to the field at Great American Ball Park.

Sporting a 0-3 overall record and a 0-3 mark within the division, the Pirates aim to knock the Reds (1-1 in the division) for a loss.

Pittsburgh gets its chance to win as a road dog after the line opened with their opposition as 130 favorites. The total opened at 10.

Last time out, at Miller Park against Milwaukee, the Pirates as underdogs lost to the Brewers 3-2. That game was an under play.

Jerry Narron's troops were at home against the Cubs last game and came away with an 8-6 win, a game that went over 11. Oddsmakers had them as pick.

The visitors bring strikeout specialists to the park today who rank #3 in the league, whiffing 7.7 per game. They will be looking to prove that reputation true again today.

Some trends to consider:
Pittsburgh is 1-5-0 SU in its last 6 games after scoring 1 to 3 runs
Pittsburgh is 1-3-1 OU in its last 5 away
Pittsburgh is 1-4-0 OU in its last 5 games
Pittsburgh is 3-6-1 OU in its last 10 games against Cincinnati
Cincinnati is 5-0-0 OU in its last 5 games
Cincinnati is 5-2-0 OU in its last 7 games at home against Pittsburgh
Cincinnati is 3-6-1 OU in its last 10 games against Pittsburgh

Next up:
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati, Friday, April 7
Cincinnati home to Pittsburgh, Friday, April 7

dude, I know that you guys just copy and paste from bodog but all that stuff means nothing

to me who's pitching is most important factor on who to bet on. Give me the team record, the pitchers W/L record, ERA and last three games ERA if you want to take it a step further (I know it's jsut the begining of the season).
