Oddsmakers don't give the Panthers much of a chance Monday, installing them as 130 underdogs when they host Toronto at BankAtlantic Center.

Sporting a 13-8-3 overall record and a 5-5-2 mark within the division, the Maple Leafs aim to knock the Panthers (3-4-0 in the division) for a loss.

The Maple Leafs know Florida will be looking to prove oddsmakers, who made them 130 home underdogs, made a mistake in this one. Florida is 7-13-4, while the Maple Leafs are 13-8-3. The total opened at 6.

Pat Quinn's team was busy last game winning against the Canadiens 4-3 as 140 favorites. The 7 goals sent that game over the total of 6.5.

Florida, on the other hand, are home to shake off a loss last time out against Atlanta. They were 180 underdogs and ended up on the wrong end of a 7-4 score, in a game that went over the closing total.

You can't expect much in the way of offensive fireworks from Florida. Saddled with the 29th-ranked offence and averaging just 2.4 goals per game the Panthers' offence needs to give its defensive unit some help Monday in order to have a chance against the Maple Leafs.

Some trends to consider:
Toronto is 3-6-1 OU in its last 10 games against Florida
Toronto is 8-4-0 OU in its last 12 games
Toronto is 5-1-0 OU in its last 6 away
Toronto is 5-0-0 SU in its last 5 games after scoring 3 to 4 goals
Florida is 5-1-1 OU in its last 7 games
Florida is 3-6-1 OU in its last 10 games against Toronto
