I was diagnosed with zinc deficiency and I started taking zinc caps of 50 mg each twice a day but it is causing nausea, it's call zinc picolinate, it makes feel sick and like throwing up but I have to take it any ways, I was wondering if I will have the same problem switching brands , did somebody ever had the same problem?

totally normal to have problems when you take zinc and naseau is a common symptom.

i bet you never eat green veggies right? that is why you are deficient in the first place

i would stop taking them and i would start eating dark green veggies instead which are full of zinc to see if that helps. doctors love telling people to take a pill instead of proper nutrition

Zinc is zinc. Switching brands won't fix your problem.

Try taking the zinc supplement with food. That should help the naseau.

Besides that, you are kind of out of luck. If you are deficient in zinc, you need to keep taking the supplement.
