The two biggest things are habit and boredom. It's been a little less than a year that my husband and I moved away from our old college town. That's where we got the "Let's get drunk just because it's Tuesday" mentality. He's getting tired of drinking as much, so it should be easy peasy. Not to mention the damage it does to our wallets!
Right now our biggest obstacles are company, weddings, parties, birthdays. There's always at least one reason to "celebrate" a week (or so it seems).
