5 pm for lifting i like cardio in the morning on a empty stomach

Why do so many people like to do cardio in the morning on an empty stomache. I always hear this, but I just want a scientific reason, I know there has to be a good reason for this?

Also, I read somewhere (Men's Health, I think) That 8:00 p.m. is the optimum time to workout!

Personally, I like to work out around 2 or 3.

Ppl do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach based on the idea that the body is carb-depleted after a night's worth of sleep, and thus during cardio the body would hit fat stores for energy.

However, I've heard that the body's level of test is highest in the pm (late afternoon), any truth to this? I guess this also assumes that you are relying on your body's natural test level, otherwise may not matter...

I'm a 3 shifter so I like to hit it right after I get off at 7am. I'm already loosened up and after im done I hit the rack and when I wake up I have time for other things.

gotta hit it after work...........................

I like to hit the gym at around three or four in the afternoon. I come home from work and lay down for a little while then hit it up.

I go at about 6:00 p.m. now after work. During school it varies but if I can I like to go an hour after breakfast. Cardio in the a.m. after a scoop of protein.

Cardio morning is correct - go to burning fat faster since no food is present.

Test is highest in morning at wakeup then drops then rises again during the day.

twice a day / 10:30 to 11:10 a.m. & 8:30 to 9:10 p.m.
never do any cardio.

Never bought into the overtraining as long as you get good rest and proper nutrients.
If you feel tired skip that workout.
