I think this would be a good example of your oversimplifying things.

no you just did a lot of lower back excercise to get the 45 up if you don't have good form, if you say you can get the weight up with perfect form you wouldn't be doing the 15lbs curls cause you know you could get the 45.

Form is always paramount, any asshole can drop the weight on himself and have his friends spot him, this doesn't get results justa trip to the hospital.
 
Diamond said only form matters "end of story" I was using an extreme example of why form is not the end all be all of lifting. Yes, use good form or your gains will suffer and you will probably hurt yourself. I realize that. However, use all the good form you want with the same weight forever and you will never get bigger.

Form AND heavy weights are important. If your form is good and you are using pansy ass weights you won't grow. If you are using heavy weights and piss poor form you also won't grow. You need both.
