Hi.
I need advice. I have been getting all different opinions on post-workout foods, so now I'm confused ?
I immed. consume a protein shake. 2 scoops of protein powder totalls= 260 calories, 44 gr. protein, 12 gr. carbs, 6 gr.sugar
I also eat either 1/2 bananna or 1/2 cup oatmeal with splenda.
I've been hearing bananna's are a no-no ? and I shouldn't have oatmeal post-workout ?
So what do I eat ?
PS: I am 130-135 lbs, 37 yr. old female, 23% body fat, 5'6 " tall.
I want to add as much muscle as I can while not gaining a lot of fat I
hope !!!!!!
BTW: I usually consume 140-145 grams of protein a day. is that a good amount ? my protein intake is always higher than my body weight.
Thanks![QT :qt: :qt:](https://www.elitefitness.com/forum/images/smilies/qt.gif)
