What are you thoughts on women only gyms?

I have a bunch of hardcore girls in my gym and I doubt any of them would go to a Women's Only gym. I know I wouldn't.

The thought is tempting, since many guys don't understand the concept of 'personal space' and view girls in the gym as easy pick-up targets! But honestly, I do enjoy the atmosphere of a co-ed gym, and think that when you ignore the assholes, you can gain so much by the useful (helpful) men in the gym.

I just wear my headphones and try to look mean.

I work and train in a fansy expensive gym filled with "Sex in the City" Model type people....The fansy gym has alot more gossiping and even has DRAMA like Who slept with Who conversations.

That sounds just like the gym I used to go to in NYC. A whole bunch of beautiful ppl - it was annoying because none of the girls ever broke a sweat in front of the boys. I couldnt stand it! I prefer a gym where Im anonymous - I just want to go in there, work hard, and get out. At the gym I go to now ppl look at me weird when I sweat & make too much 'argghhh!!' noises - really starts to make me feel uncomfortable after a while. My fantasy gym would be a 'hard-core' womens boutique type gym with all the nice extras but with girls who know what a w/o is beyond pilates (altho i do like pilates too).
