my new job has increased my commute from 7 miles to about 27 miles. So therefore, there are more chances of getting pulled over, naturally. What makes this commute worse is since i been doing it, i have noticed that on my way home, i see on average 3 people getting pulled over(no exagerration). on top of that, on the one short stretch of road before the highway(all of about 1 mile), i LITERALLY see 4 cop cars cruising every day. couple this with the fact that on my way home its midnight(fewer drivers) and you can see why sooner or later i was going to get pulled over. well, it happened tonight. i literally was 30 seconds into my commute and got pulled over. so the cop gives me a "supervisory ticket" which basically states that if i don't get a ticket for another 90 days nothing goes on my record. no biggie right? WRONG. this fuckin guy says he has to keep my i.d. and i can get it back in "a week or two" if i mail this thing in. or i could go to the station and pay $75 and get it tomorrow. Fuckin stellar. it wouldn't be such a big deal if today hadn't been my birthday and over the next couple days my friends and girl are planning on takin me out to party like a rock star. oh well, just needed to air that. Life goes on.
