I'm too out of shape to do HIIT how it's designed to be done. I've read some articles about what to do if you are too out of shape to do it....

But I wanted advice from you guys, guys who know firsthand.

Should I simply lower the speed of my sprints, or increase my jogging time ratio, or sprint my ass off - cool down by jogging - then sprint my ass off - and so on????

Ive never read the articles about being too out of shape to do the HIIT, so this might be completely off..IMO I would just have more recovery time between the sprints (jogging), and as you start to get more in shape you can cut back on that. Your best judge of that would probably be your heart rate, just wait for it to come back down some. Hope that helped. :D
