Traveling Diet

Hey guys, I started a cutting diet a few days ago, and now I have to go on a trip. Tomorrow I'll spend 8-10 hours in a car. Any tips/suggestions for maintaining the diet on this harrowing experience?

Eh... that's always hard.

You can prepack a bunch of food and eat on the way if you're not driving. Or make a lot of stops.

Personally when I drive, what I do isn't great...but on my long road trips I only make 1 or 2 stops and don't drink much water so I can drive straight through.

It won't kill ya to do that, I'm sure it's not the best idea but it gets what I want to do done. Then I eat up later and pound water to rehydrate.

Some vitamin c, and other anti oxidants and maybe BCAA's to sip on in the car might help prevent some catabolism if you're extremely worried about it.

Beef jerkey and nuts are easy to munch on too.

I prepackage foods (nuts, chicken, normally golean cereal) and eat just like I normally would. works fine, and wont really hinder any thing..

i would definitely reduce water intake though..as you dont want to be pissing all the time (even though I normally just piss in an iced tea container when on long trips.. :x

nuts, granola, whey protein in a little tupperware type thing u can just add water to, some people might not be against pork rinds or beef jerky, or you could always do the protein bar thing if maximum convenience is important.

I personally hate them, but nothing wrong with a protein bar (if its not loaded with sugars) on the rare situation like this where u actually can justify a meal on the go IMO.
