Greetings!
So my younger brother is 17. He's always been active in sports and whatnot but he's got weight problems. He has trouble losing weight and keeping it off, but no problem putting it all back on if he slacks off a bit. Bad weight, fat. He asked me for some help in getting back in shape and trimming down to a bit.
He's about 6'2", 230lbs. He has a natrually large frame, so even once he leans out he is still going to have a good size to build from when hes ready to focus on body building. Obviously cardio is going to be important for him. What type of routine should be run? ie, # of days cardio/ # of days weights per week.
As well, for a 17 year old, what are your thoughts on supplements? I know most otc stuff says not for people under 18. Maybe mild fat burners? Plus the basics like protein and amino acids, glutamine, etc. What are your thoughts?
