This tunafish sandwich good for pro/carb meal?

Would a tunafish sandwich consisting of 2 oz of albacore canned tuna, 1 tbsp of FAT FREE mayo, 1 slice of FAT FREE cheese, and salt + pepper between two slices of bread be good for a pro/carb meal? The reason I made it fat free mayo and fat free cheese is because if I used full fat mayo and cheese, that would make it a pro/fat/carb meal and carbs with fat I KNOW is a big no-no.

Also, for this meal, what would be the best bread to use? I know white is horrible, but I also heard (on this forum) that wheat bread promotes estrogen, which is bad. What about that 12 grain bread? Or rye? Which bread is best to use for this tunafish sandwich?

You should be alright, just look for a sprouted or rye bread. The ingredient list should be very breif. Something like 100% Stoneground wheat, salt, water and thats bout it. If it has High Fructost C.S. it's crap.

hey clubber i mix ultra low fat mayo in a bowl with 2 cans of albacore tuna and some rice. man that is soo good. it will get rid of all that bread. try it bro

I would use not use low fat mayo..too much sugar and ace the bread.\

as long as the total kcal is lower than 500 303030 combo is not bad..

take a fishcap or two with each meal.

Lose that low fat cheese - it's all crap anyway
Low fat mayo is like the low fat cheese try making your own mayo or buy Hain mayo - it's just oil and egg - there's nothng wrong with a little fat in your diet.

wheat bread? - I'm going to venture to guess it's a brand(s) that has/have partially hydrogenated veggie protein which is a filler otherwise know as soybean.

MAYO

2 egg yolks
¼ teaspoon of mustard
1 teaspoon of white wine vinegar
8.8 fl oz of olive oil (don't use extra virgin - bitter taste)
2 teaspoons of hot water
½ teaspoon of lemon juice or to taste
salt & pepper to taste

Place the 2 egg yolks, mustard and vinegar in a blender or large bowl. Whisk for 1 minute. Very slowly pour in the oil, whisking continuously until the mixture has a thick consistency. Whisk in the hot water, this helps stabilize the mayonnaise and gives it a lighter color. Flavor with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Chill before use. If stored in a covered container and refrigerated, the mayonnaise will keep for up to 2 weeks. (You can also do this in a blender)

I have to agree that lowfat mayo is nasty. Even a little bit of it makes me want to gag.

I'd rather use regular high fat mayo and just use a "tiny" bit of it.
