The day...

Me too... I'd love to support you... :D

Also... what are the dates? I'll see if I can get time off to come check it out... I'd be my first contest, and I'd LOVE to be there to support you in person! :)

I've said it 1000 times, and I'll say it again. I love the desire and motivation you have. Your a hardcore winner.

Scary the condition you were in, hope you'll recovery to 100% in no time.

I haven't heard how your back was feeling on saturday. Was it giving you any trouble or limiting you in any way?

Can't wait till Feburary. Get some rest and keep working hard!

B.. you did great..... How many people would have even considered continuing on in the condition you were in.... And we all know that you'll be better prepared for the lack of rest time in your next contest... You're definitly gonna be the man to beat come February and we'll all be behind you 100%......

Since I've came to this board you've really been an inspiration. My hat goes off to you for the amazing performance you put on. Never Stop until you reach the Top.

:)

To the credit of Dione and Willie Wessels, who pretty much run the event, they are NOT crappy organizers. If anything, this was a result of them being a little TOO efficient, and I believe that if any of the competitors communicated this concern to them, they would be the first to listen thoughtfully, and change the timing for future meets. I know they think the world of Clint, and want everyone to do his best.

Clint. What to say? The things that come to mind are a little too "deep" for an Elite post. It's an honor to know you. I think of all the athletes that are great, and they all got there by overcoming odds...turning chaos into opportunity. Babe Ruth striking out more than he hit home runs. Joyner Kersee scraping her face across the track in the Olympics only to come back the next year and run circles around everyone. Gymnasts competing with broken limbs. No one great ever had it handed to him. They all had perseverance. Just like you.

So when's your next meet? :D

300+ lbs at 10% - 12% bodyfat and continued work on your cardiovascualr conditioning and the world will be yours, my man. Keep your head up and focus on the positives. I would think about mixing my training up with some emphasis on rep-work to gain more lean muscle mass. The rep work may help your conditioning as well. You have the strength so try to focus on your conditioning a bit more. IMHO.

Great Job BFold, and I think that you should really be proud of what you accomplished and what you learned from the event. The award you were presented with is awesome. To receive an award like that is very honorable. It showed that you put everything you had into the event, and never stopped. You have the strength, but more importantly you have the drive and desire. It's now only a matter of time big man.

Keep us informed about your contest in Boston. I will be able to make that one. It is a couple of hours away from where I live. Did thay have oxygen for you guys? Sounds like you could have really used some.

I also wanted to say that the award you received was the best thing you could have gotten. It shows you have determination. Which all those guys had but yours outshined all of theirs. You will ALWAYS have that and when your body is ready for the pro's you will be unstopable. Peace.
