splenda sweetener?

hey everyone...i was diggin all over the cupboards for some spices and stuff to add to my oatmeal that would make it taste better and i found cinnamon (didn't know i had it) but more importantly SPLENDA...i keep hearing i need maltodextrin and dextrose or whatever it's called but i havent been able to find the stuff at a few local stores i checked....but on the splenda box the 2 ingredients are: maltodextrin and sucralose :)

so this is all good but i was wondering what is sucralose? because i know maltodextrin is ok to take in but i don't know if that other ingredient will screw up my body or if it is unhealthy...so can anyone elaborate on what sucralose is and if it's ok to take in?

or should i forget splenda and order offline from some sites a pound of dextrose and maltodextrin?

i was also wondering when can i have this treat in my diet? is there a particular time i should be taking this in since it IS sugar? or does it not really matter? should i keep doing as i am (putting about a teaspoon of splenda all over my oatmeal)? or should i use more a day? is 1 teaspoon/day enough? is it too much?

sorry i threw such a huge barrage of questions at you guys/ladies :verygood: - thanks in advance

Splenda is a low calorie artificial sweetner not sugar.

Get some gatorade powder for post-workout and use all the splenda you want during the day.
