The body takes time to let go of water weight. If you think you are bloated from alcohol, it could take up to a full week to see your scale go back to normal. I actually think the cleaner you eat, the more your body tends to hold on to water and react when you feed it substances that its not used to...at least from my personal experience. Just keep eating clean, drinking lots of water, doing your workouts and not stress over a couple of pounds.
And it may help to monitor the after-effects of your cheats so you can see if they are detering your progress over the long run. For me, a weekly cheat was too much and I was setting my progress back with that frequency.
