Ready To Learn - Bulking Duration

The best way for a newbie would be to do one big long bulking period. Maybe a year or two. Then get cut, and see where you stand. If you are happy with the amount of muscle, then you can maintain easily, without having to work very hard or eat that strictly. If you want more muscle, then you go through another bulking period.

Not in boxing =P

Plus I try to brawl regularly in school but I get in too much trouble, and I need to make sure I can get into a good college so I can supposrt my girl when I get older.

fighting kids in school does not mean you are a fighter... Try to box and wrestle and see the difference when you compete against others who are just as talented or better than you in the ways of fighting, its different than fighting most kids....

Well, I also spar, or used to when I took kenpo. I stopped now and was going for something like Jujitsu instead but then got focused on boxing.

you can't call yourself a fighter just because you pick fights with random kids. i've been in fights every once in a while, and i took muay thai and bjj and wrestled (still do) before fencing and i still don't call myself a fighter.

as far as bulking goes, you really have to see how your body reacts before you make a decision. if you bulk easily you won't need a lot of time. if your body bulks slowly you will need more time. you'll figure it out eventually.
