Protein Shakes And A Lot Of Sugar

No wonder I piss so much. I seriously piss like 20 or more times a day, maybe more. Is there a lot of difference between the natural sugars in fruit juice compared to processed sugar in sodas? When I mean juice I mean organic juice not crappy stuff.

This is a sign of diabetes! Having to pee that much is not a good sign. You need to see a doc just to be on the safe side. Don't fuck around with this. High levels of sugar in the blood effect the optic nerve, meaning you can go blind. It also effects the circulation of blood in your feet. Meaning if you get a small cut or sore it can turn into gangrene and you loose your foot. I'm not kidding about this at all go get checked out.

I take some extra dextrose with my post workout shakes!!

As far as Sugar Free Redbull the aspartame is proly worse than the sugar in the non sugar free!!

Shit, I am freaking out about this diabetes thing. I'll see if I can go to the doctor. It costs a shitload of cash here in NYC to see a doctor. My insurance sucks.

I also have really low blood pressure. I could sprint around the block and get my BP taken, it would read 68/109. I have had physicals in the morning and the nurse is always like "Get this kid a coke, he is going to die on us." When I really feel fine.

I am going to see if I can get an appointment.

Maybe you can see a Vet in Jersey or something. :)

Don't eat before you go to the doc so he can do a fasting glucose test on you right then.

I don't want to flip you out because I don't know what's going on with you but having to pee that much and having very low bp doesn't sound good to me.

Hey it could be nothing. But you know what they say. Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to go just yet.

There are dome good sides to sugar it just has to be taken in at the right times. I take about 50 grams of dextrose in my post-workout shake. It is great at causing an insulin spike which helpe your body process nutrients and protein it is takning it at that time. The insuline also helps you body from going catoblic and stay anabolic. It does this by keeping crisyol levels down, which increase after a hard workout. In this effect it has it's good sides. The negatives are the quick drops in blood sugar after you take it when you are not working out.

Before you panic, I would search the internet for sites on Diabetes Symptons. See if you have any of the other stmptoms. If you only pee a lot because you force yourself to drink tons of water, then maybe no worry. but if you drink a lot of water because you are perpetually thirsty (a possible sign of diabetes) then there is more reason for concern.

Okay here's what I found:

Diabetes Symptoms:

1. Frequent urination
2. Excessive thirst
3. Unexplained weight loss
4. Extreme hunger
5. Sudden vision changes
6. Tingling or numbness in hands or feet
7. Feeling very tired much of the time
8. Very dry skin
9. Sores that are slow to heal
10. More infections than usual.

The only symptoms that I have are being thirsty and pissing a lot, everything else is a no. I think it's because I do drink two or three sodas a day, so that probably dehydrates me. Plus, I am 5'7" and 165, my bladder is not a big as some of you beasts.
