post workout shake

this is what i consume after a workout

1 lean body law carb meal replacement
1 nantucket nectars strawberry watermelon juice
1 serving of blueberries


i figured the sugar from the juice wouldnt be bad since its post workout. let me know what you guys think.

Sugar in juice is fructose, which is not high GI. You need dextrose or glucose to restore your glycogen, or something else that will spike your insulin like pizza or white bread.
 
Why don't you look into Karbolyn great post work and add some protien drink to it, I take Aftershock with mine...
 
look into waxy maize

50-60 grams post workout with water, faster than dextrose or malto

then 20 minutes after that take your 50mg of whey isolate (syntrax nectar is the bomb)

then 1.5 hours later eat your meal
 
When you look for waxy maize don't buy the cheap crap it will do nothing for you. The best 2 are Karbolyne and Vitargo (GNC).

anything to back this up?

waxy maize is waxy maize, the 5lb tub i got from bulk was just fine

i'm not looking for any fillers and additional ingredients like flavors or creatine
