You mean the articles that say "Don't buy the cheap stuff, buy MY stuff" type articles?

There's no magic "extra special" waxy maize for expensive brands. Raw stuff is raw stuff, or a marketed brand of raw stuff mixed with other stuff.

It's the same thing bro.

No articles writen by people who try them and test them to see if what they say is in them is really in them. Wow, I didn't know you had such an extensive knowledge on quality assurance. So where is waxy maize derived? Just one or more products available to produce waxy maize?

So what you are saying is there is no difference in quality?
Just like with protien powders, GH, test ug vs. pharm. Interesting. Well I am not a proBBer so I don't know much.
Oh and raw WM is just that except its called corn starch...
And there is a difference in absorption. But you know that too. I think its called osmolality or something like that and the rate is called the GI index, but you know that too...

thanks a bunch guys...i picked up some waximaize - ids 5lb tub 55$ but on sale for 30$$ - good deal!

That's great bro.

I would use one to two scoops of the WMS and mix it with 10-15g of BCAA or Leucine, and 5-10g of creatine. I don't know if you bought flavored WMS, but crystal light and a packet or two of splenda will mask the taste. About 20-30 minutes after you drink this have a whey shake. Preferably a whey isolate blend. Have a solid meal 30-60 minutes after the whey shake and you should be good to go.

I use this method and I will routinely switch up and use a product by Biotest called Surge. It is a very good pre-mixed PWO blend that tastes amazing and gets the job done.

look into waxy maize

50-60 grams post workout with water, faster than dextrose or malto

then 20 minutes after that take your 50mg of whey isolate (syntrax nectar is the bomb)

then 1.5 hours later eat your meal

i never did try any dextrose post workout do you find that it works well

not bad but waxy maize you can feel clearing you out and the spike is definitely more pronounced

makes your primed and ready to absorb that whey

From corn starch. "maize" in spanish means "corn" btw.

There can be quality differences. What I am saying is that you can find raw waxy maize that is good quality stuff that is not found in vitargo and karbolyn for a much better price.

Sure.

Well I am not a proBBer so I don't know much.

You don't have to be a por BBer to have a good knowledge of anything.

No exactly, it's derived from corn starch.

And there is a difference in absorption. But you know that too.

Sure, waxy will absorb faster than corn starch.

I think its called osmolality or something like that and the rate is called the GI index, but you know that too...

Yup. GI = Glycemic Index.

Bro, I'm not trying to act like I'm throwing superior knowledge around. My comment was not intended to miff you either, so I hope you don't think i was trying to make fun of you or anything.

You said that the quality ones were from karbolyn and vitargo and that the "cheap crap" is basically useless. That is simply not true.

They get their WM from a different company that produces mass quantities of raw WM. They may have their own in-house capability to manufacture it, I don't knwo for sure, but they most likey get it from a supplier. That same supplier most likely also sells it to other companies who re-sale the raw WM ingredient to end users like you and me.

You can get raw WM hat is great quality and for a cheap price. It's all basically the same stuff in the end.

would you recommend taking it if somebody was trying to diet down or it doesnt matter dieting, bulking w/e?

I would use it regardless of goals. Just adjust the serving size accordingly. If cutting have one scoop WMS (40g), BCAA (10g), and possibly creatine. Then your whey shake and a solid meal 30 minutes to an hour later. You still want to pump those nutrients into your body to halt catabolism and start recovering from your workout.
