Hi.

just wondering this. Usually after I weight train, I have a protein shake. 44 gr. protein, 260 cal, 12 carbs. 3 hours later dinner.

My schedule has been really busy lately, so what I have been doing is eating my dinner after I weight train, and then have my protein shake 2-3 hours later ?

I also, include only a 1/2 cup serving of a starchy veggie such as peas, because I heard if you train at night, which I do. you should include a 1/2 cup serving of a starchcy veg to help with recovery through the night.

So I train at 6 pm, have dinner 6:45-7pm, 4 or 5 oz. chicken, 1/2 cup peas,
And at 10pm I have my protein shake at 10 pm & then go to bed.

Is this OK to do ? or a big mistake ?

Thanks :rainbow:

well.....any fat in the whole food meal will delay the rocovery window....its not the BEST scenario...but it works....just cut back on carbs in shake b4 bed...add soem fat
