No, no, NO, NOOOOO!! NOT FUCKING AGAIN!!!

Took the words out of my mouth, C ditty. I have this problem from time to time, but mine is from my hips being out of allignment (my son was 10 pounds when born, and I carried him VERY low-hairline fracture on my pelvis). Either way, it still places stress on the sacrospinatus muscle, and other deep tissue muscles around the hips/glutes/lower back. The stretch C ditty described, with both straight and bent legs, keeps me in business.

Well, just because my lower back is injured ... that don't mean I can't work other things!!

Did some incline tonight, 3 sets of 4 and one set of 5 with 235. New PR!! Then did some flat db presses, a set of 8 and a set of 7 with 100s. Then finished it with some flys, and some lower back rehab work. Did about 4 sets of reverse hypers and some light stretching.

I think I can feel it healing already. Haha. Thank you all for all your help.

I would be extremely careful GL, a similar injury, first ignored as 'not too bad' ...put me out for a full year, pure misery, I had to leave school because I could not sit in a chair for more than 15 min at a time, is pretty much healed now *knock on wood!!!!* but I would be extremely, extremely careful if I were you....

Thanks Frackal, believe me, I am. My back actually feels very good right now. I'm not about to squat or deadlift anything heavy right now, but hopefully with more rehab I will soon.

Don't pull more than a triple, your back is fatigue'ing and causing bad form. Lower back and stomach work are a must. Also try not to pull every week it will kill your cns.

Put as much focus on your abdominals as your back. When I do heavy abdominal work, my back feels better. Also doing bent dumbell rows can help.
