New Year, New Log - Getting Back In Action

I am jumping on the band wagon here. My last log was good while it lasted and definitely helped me to break plateaus. I am currently not able to lift because of major surgery on Dec. 19th. My lift restriction until at least January 31st is nothing >10 lbs. I can do short walks (no running/Elliptical per Dr. orders) but right now tire easily. So I will use Shadow’s eating plan with modifications to at least maintain body weight and possibly composition until I can lift again.

Stats as of Jan. 7:
Weight: 129-130 lbs.
BF% (caliper): 24.2%

I will begin with supplements in 1 week (gotta get them first): Glucorell, Sesapure to begin with, then will use CardioBreeze for a.m. walking, then when cleared to begin lifting, using Red Blast.

I will log foods in FitDay, then on here. The real challenge will be once I am cleared to lift, to ease back into things. I tend to go gungho into weight training.

Did not eat much this day. My appetite has decreased since going back to work.

M1: 1 scoop protein powder in Crystal Lite
M2: 1 oz. almonds
M3: 1/2 cup roasted cornish hen, 3/4 cup Uncle Ben's ready rice, small xtra lean beef patty
M4: 1 slice Digiornos wheat crust cheese pizza, with red bell pepper

More food today but macros are still off. Hopefully, at this point it will be more important to keep caloric intake up in order to keep metabolism running.

M1: 4 egg whites between 2 slices Oroweat 7 grain bread w/1 slice 2% american cheese
M2: 1/4 cup dry roasted unsalted peanuts
M3: 1 slice Digiornos wheat crust pizza with red bell pepper
M4: 1/2 cup romaine lettuce, 1 wedge hothouse tomato, 1 tbsp olive oil caesar dressing, 1/2 tbsp parmesan cheese
M5: 1 slice Digiornos wheat crust pizza with red bell pepper, 1 cup romaine lettuce, 1 wedge hothouse tomato, 1 tbsp olive oil caesar dressing, 1/2 tbsp parmesan cheese

M3: 1 cup homemade Turkey & Okra gumbo, 6 wheat crackers
M4: 1 cup homemade Turkey & Okra gumbo, 1 cup brown rice, 2 soft white dinner rolls
M5: 1 tbsp ANPB

So far so good with the new job. I just have a mountain of things to take care of to close out last year. I will need to set a timer to remind myself to EAT. :rolleyes:

Did good on this day; macros are close to where they need to be.

M1: Egg white sandwich - 2 slices 7-grain bread, 3/4 cup egg whites, 1 slice 2% cheese, 2 cups coffee
M2: 2 scoops whey protein in H2O
M3: turkey gumbo (last of the leftovers), 1/4 cup brown rice
M4: 5 lumpia (fresh), 1 cup steamed broccil florets, 1/4 cup reduced fat mac n cheese
M5: 1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts (I am tired of these, will be getting more almonds this w/end)

M3: seafood gumbo (homemade w/no fat base), 1/2 cup brown rice, 5 wheat crackers

Yes, I am eating alot of gumbo. I made 2 giant batches in Nov. and Dec. and need to eat 'em up!
:chomp: (I think the worst thing in it would be the flour used to make the base (roux). I used no fats.)
