Hello everyone,

I am about 2months back to training after a 2year "leave of absence"! Things are beginning to come along, its just hard to get that strength and stamina back after taking so long off, and is discouraging.

In the last 2years i have basically lost alot of muscle.. I have never been very good at devising a diet plan, soo i am looking for some insight..

I am currently 6'2 and about 245lbs. Prior to me stopping my training, my average build was approx 235, at about 15-20% body fat, and my strength was always my best attribute.

The difference between then and now is prob about another 15% body fat has been added... I have just started the use of tren, and i am trying to watch my diet, but i never was a hardcore diet guy at all.

Any suggestions on a cutting diet plan are much appreciated...

Thanks!

The key to losing fat is to keep insulin levels low.

That means minimize carb intake and maximize lean meat intake. I'm cutting right now and I'm only eating carbs post workout during the week. I do eat more carbs on weekends though. I eat 150-200 g carbs postworkout during the week and about 600 g protein. My fat intake is around 50 g. On weekends, I'll eat 400-500 carbs.

thanks for your info.. heres the thing, im up training at 6am, and then at work all day till around 6, and i have a crazy life, always running around with something to do.. i just dont want to have that like "flat"... weak feeling from not enough carbs.. at my size, where do you think my crab intake should be?

Yeah, it's definitely hard to not eat carbs during the week. I would invest in ezekiel bread. it's low GI and won't produce that much insulin. It's hard to identify how many carbs you should eat but I would say no more than 2 g lb bodyweight if you're cutting and most of them should come directly after you lift. I would definitely try to eat less though. Just make sure your protein intake is high so that your metabolism is running and your muscles are being given plenty of amino acids. you wont lose muscle that way.
